Our Story

Building Tampa Bay since 1968

For decades, Caladesi has grown alongside the Tampa Bay communities we call home. What began decades ago has become a family business shaped by lasting relationships, generations of experience, and a commitment to doing things the right way. This is the story of the people, projects, and principles that continue to move Caladesi forward.

    One truck and a promise

Caladesi Construction opens its doors in Largo with a pickup, a small crew, and a simple standard: do it right, every time.

    A home of our own

The sign goes up at the Highland office. The crews grow, the yard fills with iron, and the name starts to mean something around Pinellas County.

    The Butler partnership

Butler Manufacturing honors Don Hinrichs as Salesman of the Year. Pre-engineered steel becomes a Caladesi signature, and the authorized Butler Builder relationship still anchors our work today.

    Landmarks on the water

Pier 60 rises over Clearwater Beach. Some projects become part of the skyline; this one became part of the postcard.

    Heavy civil, heavier trust

Steel goes up on the McMullen Booth overpass. By now, municipalities across three counties call Caladesi first.

  8. Today

    Four generations in

The founder's standard survives in the family that still runs the job, in an office where the drawings still get spread across the table.
